1. Information we collect
We collect personal details you provide voluntarily — your name, email address, phone number, city, and any messages you send through inquiry or contact forms. We also collect standard analytics: pages visited, search queries, device type, and approximate location (city-level).
2. How we use your information
Your contact details are used solely to (a) route admission inquiries to the schools you select, (b) respond to support requests, and (c) send relevant updates if you opt in. Aggregated, non-identifying analytics help us improve the platform.
3. What we never do
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your contact information with schools you have not explicitly contacted. We do not run targeted advertising based on sensitive personal categories.
4. Cookies & tracking
We use first-party cookies for session management and essential functionality. With your consent, we use third-party analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) and ad delivery (e.g., Google AdSense). You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
5. Third-party services
We use trusted vendors for hosting, search (Meilisearch), email delivery, and payments. Each vendor is bound by data-protection agreements and only processes data needed for the service they provide.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to privacy@melvano.in. We respond to verified requests within 30 days, in line with Indian privacy regulations.
7. Data retention
We retain inquiry data for up to 24 months to support follow-up communication. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period after, in accordance with legal obligations.
8. Children's data
EduFind India is intended for parents and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for 14 days.
